The terms for the Superblur iPhone app, sold through the App Store under Apple's standard license, and for superblur.app.

These terms cover the Superblur app and this website, both run by System Operator LLC. Last updated September 28, 2026.

## The app

### What it is

Superblur is an iPhone app that finds faces, number plates and text in your photos and videos and hides them, on your iPhone. It is a program running on your phone, not a service. We do not receive or store your photos or videos. [Privacy](/privacy) says what little leaves your phone.

### License and purchases

Superblur is distributed through the App Store and licensed to you under Apple's standard [Licensed Application End User License Agreement](https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/). The core app is free. Superblur Pro is a one-time in-app purchase made with Apple: payment, refunds and taxes are handled by Apple under the App Store terms. There is no subscription.

### Check before you share

Superblur finds what it can, and it can miss a face, a plate or a name: a small face at the back of a crowd, a face turned away, text at an angle. Look at the photo before you share it. What you share is your decision.

### Your photos

Saved copies are yours and stay in your library. What Superblur hides in a copy cannot be brought back from that copy. Replace Original is saved as a Photos edit, which Revert in Photos undoes.

### As is

Under Apple's agreement the app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

## The website

superblur.app describes Superblur. There is nothing to sign up for and nowhere to upload anything. Read it, link to it and quote it; do not try to break or overload it. The words and images on this site belong to System Operator LLC. Apple, iPhone and Photos belong to Apple.

## Both

### Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for Superblur in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

### Changes

We can update the app, the website and these terms. We date this page when it changes.

### Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, where System Operator LLC is formed, without regard to conflict of law rules.
