# Privacy

Superblur works on your iPhone. No account, no server, and your photos are never uploaded.

Everything stays on your iPhone. Nothing to sign up for, nothing to sign in to.

- **Your photos and videos stay on your iPhone.** Faces, plates and text are found on the phone and never uploaded. Superblur has no server that could receive them.
- **Photos access is asked only when it is needed.** Saving asks to add to your photos. Replace Original, the newest screenshot from Control Center and grouping faces into people ask to see your photos, and only when you use them.
- **Saved copies lose where they were taken.** The location is removed from every copy unless you turn that off, and you can remove the date and camera too.
- **Say what to hide and the save summary** use Apple's on-device model. What you type stays on the phone.
- **Crash reports.** When Superblur crashes or freezes, the phone's crash report (where in the code it happened, the app and iOS version) is sent to our own diagnostics service. It never contains a photo, a face, a name or a place.
- **Purchases** are handled by Apple. We see no card and no Apple ID.
- **Only what you send leaves.** Feedback you write goes to us only when you send it.
